Borer in your properties timber usually looks like small holes (2-4mm) on the surface with sawdust all round. If left untreated it can weaken the timber structures of your property and cause serious problems.
The long-term solution is a residual surface spray of an insecticide product. The treatment must last longer than the borer lifecycle (3-5 years) and can only be done on bare timber. Airborne treatments (misting, fogging, bombs) will only kill the adult borer when they are on the wing (November to March).
